Ruby red with purple hues, an enticing bouquet of cherries, plums and subtle spice is revealed. The wine displays lovely rich, soft berry flavours with hints of cinnamon, subtle vanillin oak and soft, fine tannins. The palate is well balanced and has good length.

Winemakers Comments

The vineyards of South Australia's Riverland region produce rich, full flavoured fruit and the Banrock planting is no exception. Selected parcels of rich, fruity Cabernet Sauvignon combine well with soft, plummy Merlot. Careful handling of the fruit and wine at all stages of production has ensured that these inherent flavours are retained.
